Our Firm

Founded in 1999, Wealth Management Associates, Inc. is an SEC regulated Registered Investment Advisory Firm.

We are an “independent” advisory firm.  Our founders and many of our advisors are former employees of large Wall Street firms and understand how the business models of these firms can often create high costs and potential conflicts of interest.

Wealth Management Associates was created and structured to allow our independent advisors to provide their clients with completely objective and unbiased advice.  We also strive to reduce or eliminate our clients’ investment fees and expenses whenever possible.  This approach allows us to deliver a very high level of personal service and advice to our clients at a very reasonable cost.

Thanks to this combination of unbiased advice at a reasonable cost, as well as the trust that has been placed in us by valued clients over the years, Wealth Management Associates, Inc. has grown to become the largest office of independent advisors in South Jersey.

Our Structure

Although, Wealth Management Associates is an independent, locally owned advisory firm, we are able to offer our clients access to state of the art technology and resources through our strategic alliances with other large financial institutions.  Our arms-length relationships with these companies allows us to maintain our objectivity, while providing the access to markets and resources that are clients require.

The companies that are working together to help you meet your financial goals are:

Wealth Management Associates, Inc. - WMA provides objective and unbiased financial planning and investment advisory services to our clients for a fee.

Unlike many large brokerage firms, we do not offer stock underwritings, in-house mutual funds or boilerplate financial plans that we are required to present to our clients.  We do not regard our financial consultants as distribution channels for investment products. What we do offer is unbiased, well-researched advice. Our independence is our greatest strength.

Fidelity Institutional Wealth Services – Fidelity IWS is the division of Fidelity Investments that provides independent investment advisors access to the resources and technology of Fidelity Investments.  It is through this relationship that we have been able to build the platform for our Wealth Management Advisory Account.  This account is the primary tool we use to manage assets for our clients.  It utilizes the full spectrum of low cost investment vehicles and advisors acting as fiduciaries on behalf of their clients, offering completely unbiased and objective research and advice.  Fidelity IWS Webpage Link

Securities America, Inc. – SAI is a member of FINRA/SIPC and is one of the nation’s largest independent broker-dealers. SAI facilitates and supervises brokerage investment transactions. However, the greatest value provided for clients by SAI is to oversee all securities-related transactions to ensure that our business practices comply fully with all securities regulations. They do this by continuously monitoring all transactions done through our office and auditing us on-site at least once a year.  WMA’s New Jersey location is also a branch office of Securities America. Why this structure?  We continually review our relationships to make sure that they are providing our clients with the services they need at the lowest possible cost.  No company can dictate or influence how we handle client accounts other than to make sure we comply with industry regulations.  This arms-length relationship with each service provider, helps to ensure that the advice our clients receive is not influenced by any other agenda other than finding the optimal strategy to achieve their financial goals.
